Decorating for Easter

I know Easter has passed for this year but I thought I'd share the ways in which my family and I decorated the house. My family never decorates for Easter but we thought we'd make more of an effort this year and, like I've said before, any excuse to be seasonal and decorate! I'll start with sparkly pictures of our new Easter tree...

Here's the things that we used to make the house look more seasonal...

Easter Tree

Finally we decided to get an Easter tree! We love decorating and pretty things so why not? It's called 'the glitter pearl tree' 'from The Range.

It also gives off enough light to give the room a lovely glow:

We just love it so much, we were even thinking of hanging other seasonal decorations on it so that we can keep it out all year round!

Tree Decorations

Obviously we needed something to add a little colour to our new Easter tree! The first ones are from Fenwick and the second ones are from Sainsbury's.

I think they look quite cool on the tree together since the Fenwick ones look upside down compared to the others!

Egg Candles

I absolutely love these egg-shaped candles from Fenwick. Something I always like to have around each room is a candle, so these were a must when I saw them!

Bunting

We bought bunting with flags of different patterns/colours from The Range. My parents like a cottage-style decor most of the time so we're thinking of getting little discreet pins to hold the bunting up and keep it there all year!

Sheep Decoration

This is another decoration from Fenwick. I just think it's really sweet and quite quirky, so it hung in the porch over Easter and we'll definitely be getting it out next year too.

Happy Easter Sign

I know, repeating myself a bit here, but this one is also from Fenwick. They do such nice decorations I just couldn't resist! This one sat on the mantelpiece and gave the room a touch of bright colour.

Welcome Sign

I actually got this one last year but it made an appearance again. It's definitely one of my favourite Easter decorations because I think it's just pretty and delicate, fitting nicely into any room.

Candle Holder

This candle holder was bought from Fenwick as well, last year. I've never seen one like this before, with all of the fake egg decorations and feathers, but it looks as though it's an Easter nest so I really like it.

Egg Cup

This was a little Easter gift that my parents got me from Debenhams. Now I use it all the time!
