Pumpkins, Pumpkins, Pumpkins!

I've been embracing the pumpkin themes and activities this year! From decor, pumpkin fields and skin care goodies, I thought I'd share it all with you.

Pumpkin Picking at Spilman Farming

This is something I've never done before, but I'll definitely be pumpkin picking every year from now on. I absolutely love how autumnal a field full of pumpkins looks, and at Spilman Farming there were squashes too, making it even prettier! There weren't just your average pumpkins, there were ones of all sizes, shapes and colours. I ended up picking 7, and I'd definitely recommend this place because I got all of it for just over £10. Also how cute is it that you get to go around with a wheelbarrow?!

Here are the ones that I picked, after washing them...

Pumpkin Carving

Of course, after my first time picking pumpkins, I had to carve one! As I've carved faces into pumpkins each Halloween for as long as I can remember, I thought I'd do something a little different this time. Here's the end product:

I chose the design based on one that I saw on another blog.

Pumpkin-Shaped Gingerbread Candle

I couldn't resist this! For just £8 from Next I thought it would be a perfect addition to my room, and warm scent of Autumnal spices is so calming (and reminds me that Christmas is coming soon).

Pumpkin Decor

These two pumpkin ornaments are from TK Maxx and fit in with the copper/rose gold theme in my room. I've placed one with my pumpkin-shaped candle and a diffuser (both from Next) and the other is in front of my TV with fairy lights wrapped around it. I love them so much I'm even tempted to keep them up throughout Winter!

The Body Shop Vanilla Pumpkin

When I heard these were making a return this year I was SO excited! I didn't buy them last year but I love so many of the Body Shop products and... vanilla pumpkin? Yes please. It's safe to say that I am completely obsessed with this fragrance! It's soft like vanilla but with Autumnal spices and fruity pumpkin. I bought the hand cream, body butter and shower gel, and I would definitely recommend them! Also, the design on the packaging is so beautiful. It's based on Dia de los Muertos, which I’ve found beautiful - both aesthetically and in its meaning - ever since I watched the film Coco (I’d definitely recommend watch this). If you like the body shop products and you like the sound of sweet vanilla with a hint of Autumnal spices, these are for you.

Hand cream:

The Body Shop hand creams are part of my essentials - I always make sure I have one with me, as I have quite sensitive skin and these are just perfect for keeping them hydrated and soft. I'd definitely recommend this hand cream for this time of year as its Autumnal scent goes perfectly with the seasons and its a must when the cold weather is making your skin feel dry!

Body butter:

As you can see, this design is based on Dia de los Muertos, made up of lots of little flowers and it just looks gorgeous! I love these body butters as they're a lot thicker than my moisturisers and leave skin smooth and smelling beautifully!

Shower gel:

Of course, I love The Body Shop shower gels already, but what I really love about this one is that it has a creamier consistency compared to the fruity ones I usually use. If you haven't tried their shower gels yet, I'd definitely recommend them and the vanilla pumpkin one for those colder months!
